“Abounding grace for all”
Tracing SWC’s history takes us back to the heart of our mission to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous Christ centered relationship with Jesus. After so many years of wrestling with the call of God; on October 19, 2014 in the midst of challenging times I surrendered to the then revealed church name SHEKINAH. A group of nine people gathered to plant the church now known as Shekinah Worship Center SWC. “Shekinah Worship Center” earnestly seeks to spread God’s word throughout the world. We endeavor to proclaim Christ’s love for all people as we wholeheartedly rely on Glory Cloud to lead us.
Our history contains countless exploits of faith, love, endurance, and sacrifice. The real heroes of the faith are the many men, women, and young people who have found the Lord here and seek to serve Him faithfully. God is doing great things in our midst Blessings have overflowed in the last 5 years. While grateful to God for a bright, but brief past, Shekinah Worship Center has promises to keep, and miles to go before the return of the King of Kings .
We are now in our new facility on 383 East Washington Ave Bridgeport, CT. We look forward to the continuing growth of a ministry that makes a difference! Only Heaven will tell the full story, where God is not unjust to forget our work and labor of love which we have shown toward His name (Hebrews 6:10).

Why Shekinah Worship Center?
Core Belief
-
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God was Himself in Jesus Christ to reconcile Man to God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, He joined together the deity of God and the humanity of man. Jesus of Nazareth was God in human flesh, truly God and truly man.
-
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, co-equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is our Lord’s ever present self, indwelling, assuring, and enabling the Christian.
-
The Bible is God’s written word, uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit. It was written by people at God’s command and through His inspiration. It is the authoritative record of the revelation of God’s acts in creation, in history, in our salvation, and in His Son Jesus Christ.
-
God created men and women in His own image, innocent, morally free and responsible to choose between good and evil, right and wrong. By the sin of Adam, all human beings are corrupted in their very nature so that from birth they are inclined to sin.

Be a reconciling community (2 Corinthians 5: 18-20)
